Mr. Pradhan, Hydropower Specialist and Entrepreneur, is an Electrical Engineer . He is currently Executive Chairman at Hydro Solutions Group. He is also at the board member of Canada-Nepal Business Chamber (CNBC), Senator at Kathmandu University (KU), Advisory Member of Independent Power Producers Association of Nepal (IPPAN) and Executive Member of many prestigious country chambers and government association like IHP (International Hydrological Program) Committee- Nepal National Commission for – UNESCO, Nepal-German Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NGCCI), Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NICCI), Nepal-China Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NCCCI), Nepal-Britain Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NBCCI), SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SAARC CCI), Past former chairman Energy Development Council of Confederation of Nepalese Industries(CNI), Nepal and Lifetime Special Member of Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI).

He is also holding the responsibility of Chairman at CACCI – Asian Council on Water, Energy and Environment. He was the former chairman of Energy Committee, Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FNCCI), and SAARC CCI Council on Climate Change, Energy and Water Resources. Er. Pradhan has been conferred with several awards and recognitions in the past such as the prestigious ‘Best Entrepreneur Award’ presented by BOSS in 2005, ‘Manager of the Year’ Award conferred by Management Association of Nepal (MAN) in 2006, HYDRO Nepal Excellence Award in Energy (Hydropower) in 2010,‘Best Entrepreneur Award’ conferred by Engineers’ Association Nepal in 2011 and lately “Asia Honesty Entrepreneur Award” conferred by Asia Excellence Entrepreneur Federation, Malaysia in 2014 for his sturdy contributions to the field of hydropower and clean energy.
