At present, the company employs specialists of various professions, such as civil, hydropower, electrical and mechanical engineers, geologists, surveyors, architects, industrialists, environmentalists, financial analysts and management consultants. Mr. Pradhan, Hydropower Specialist and Entrepreneur, is an Electrical Engineer by training. He is currently Executive Chairman at Hydro Solutions. He is also the Executive Member of Canada-Nepal Business Chamber (CNBC), Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FNCCI), Nepal-Russia Chamber of Commerce &Industry (NRCCI), Nepal-German Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NGCCI), Nepal-China Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NCCCI), Nepal-Britain Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NBCCI), SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SAARC CCI), Nepal and Lifetime Special Member of Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI)). He is the Chairman of Energy Committee at FNCCI, SAARC CCI Council on Climate Change, Energy and Water Resources Nepal and also Chairman at CACCI Asian Council on Water, Energy and Environment. Er. Pradhan has been conferred with several awards and recognitions in the past such as the prestigious ‘Best Entrepreneur Award’ presented by BOSS in 2005, ‘Manager of the Year’ Award conferred by Management Association of Nepal (MAN) in 2006, HYDRO Nepal Excellence Award in Energy (Hydropower) in 2010,‘Best Entrepreneur Award’ conferred by Engineers’ Association Nepal in 2011 and lately “ Asia Honesty Entrepreneur Award 2014”conferred by Asia Excellence Entrepreneur Federation, Malaysia in 2014   for his sturdy contributions to the field of hydropower and clean energy.

Mr. Shrestha holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Chartered Certified Accountants skill level degree from the United Kingdom. Mr. Shrestha has more than 30 years of progressive professional career in various corporate and government institutions, Commercial Bank, Development Bank and Finance Company, the recent one being the Chief Executive Officer for Green Development Bank Limited after Lord Buddha Finance Limited. Besides he has also been serving as an adjunct faculty for Management studies at various public and private colleges and has actively participated in numerous management and internal audits for various banks and financial institutions. At Hydro Solutions, he is responsible for strategic business development including management of investments in the entire set of projects undertaken by the company through effective portfolio of management and growth oriented financial and business planning process and corporate affairs of the group.

Mr. Shakya holds BE in Civil Engineering from Institute of Engineering, T.U., Nepal and MSc in Water Resources Management from the University of Lueneburg, Germany under DAAD scholarship. He has been actively involved in hydropower, engineering consulting services and project management activities for more than ten years through a number of private companies, consulting enterprises and entrepreneurial ventures including GITEC Consult GmbH, Duesseldorf, Germany in its project in Jordan. He has undertaken site surveys, construction supervision, feasibility studies and engineering design of hydropower, water supply, waste water and building projects. He is also a visiting faculty of hydrology, hydraulics and hydropower in different engineering colleges. In Hydro Solutions, he served as a project coordinator for one year and assisted in technical valuation, project appraisal and audits, negotiations with tactical partners, expert team and vendors and project acquisition. As a team leader in Hydro Solutions, he has upgraded the feasibility study of Hadi  Khola Hydropower Project (4.5 MW) and completed the feasibility study of Upper Khudi Hydropower Project (25 MW), Nyasim Khola Hydropower Project and Kaligandaki Gorge Hydropower Project (164 MW). The feasibility study of the Kaligandaki Gorge Hydropower Project was further revised and upgraded as a PRoR scheme to 252 MW under his leadership. Currently he is a team leader of detail design team of Lower Modi Khola Hydropower Project (20 MW).

Mr. Man Bahadur Rai is a hydropower engineer by profession with the professional experience more than 17 years. He has involved extensively in hydropower study, design, construction supervision and project management. He also has involved in policy level support to government line agencies and capacity building of financial institutions, contractors, engineers and academic institutions in the field of hydropower. He has domestic as well as international experience in hydropower policy, capacity building, engineering and management. Moreover he spent substantial period of his career in private sector hydropower industry. He worked in the hydropower related projects undertaken by United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) and African Development Bank (AfDB). He technically led the hydropower projects financed by International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Bank Group. His team secured finance from IFC and managed the hydropower projects according to IFC requirements. He worked in the capacity of civil engineer, resident engineer, project coordinator, project manager, hydropower expert and team leader (hydropower) in number of hydropower projects and organizations.

As an IT Incharge, Mr. Shrestha is responsible for developing, establishing & maintaining a reliable & secure information system, managing all information and communication technology including server & web related services and hardware/equipment. He also acts as a link interface with the user functions in determining overall information systems approach and strategy for the company. He is responsible for supporting data processing information systems; conducting data processing user trainings and desktop applications including management of centralized server environment and company’s online content management system. He also assists in the coordination and management of Company’s newsletter and desktop publications, participate as a member of the coordination management team in operations planning, project scheduling, graphic design, monitoring and administration.

Ms. Shrestha has a Master’s degree in Planning and Operation of Energy System with specialization in hydropower (Sandwich program between Kathmandu University& Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU) under Norad Scholarship. She has more than 5 years of experience in various professional organizations. She has also worked as Research Associate in Centre of Excellence in Production and Transportation of Energy System, School of Engineering, Kathmandu University under Happy House Foundation, Switzerland, responsible for research, teaching and other works related to consulting business. At Hydro Solutions, she has been involved in feasibility study of Lower Charnawati Hydropower Project (6.4MW) and  detail design study of PhalakhuKhola Hydroelectric Project (14.7 MW).
