New Generation Power, Chicago (US) Based Renewable Energy Company sign MoA with Hydro Solutions, Nepal to develop around 400 MW of Hydro projects in Nepal.

New Generation Power, Chicago (US) Based Renewable Energy Company, has stepped up its commitment to bring clean and sustainable energy in Nepal by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hydro Solutions. The New Generation Power is represented in Nepal by a New York, United States (U.S.) based company, Nepal Infrastructure Consult (NIC). With the signing of this MoA, new Generation Power, Nepal Infrastructure Consult, Moksha Energy International and Hydro Solutions will work together to develop and manage Hydro projects in Nepal. NGP teaming partners has together built over 200 MW of renewable energy projects currently in operation and has over 3,000 MW of renewable energy projects in its pipeline in many parts of the world.

The agreement aims to boost the efforts of NGP to bring clean and alternative energy across the world, and NIC, MEI and HSL’s mission to enhance clean energy projects in Nepal. In the coming days, the consortium will develop around 400MW of clean energy projects in Nepal. The MoU was signed by Dr. Chirinjeev Kathuria, Chairman, and Nisha Joshi, Senior Vice-President (International) of NGP, Gyanendra Lal Pradhan, Executive Chairman of Hydro Solutions and Suman Neupane, President of NIC.  Mr.  Manish Miglani, the founder of MEI, facilitated this historic signing of a MoU between NGP and HSL.
